Kitchen has been newly renovated in 2008.  This renovation included removing two walls and inserting a beam which open the kitchen, dining and living room into one large room.   The cedar beams and popcorn ceiling have been removed from the common areas and replaced with a smooth painted surface.  We had new granite, cabinets and back-splash installed.  Cabinets are custom with upgrades including pots and pans drawers and controlled drawer return.  We installed dimmable under and top mounted cabinet lighting.  Copper tile was added for accent above the cabinets.  Custom down-lighting was installed over the island as well as additional power in the back-splash.  We have upgraded the appliances by adding GE Profile gas range and convection/microwave.  The dishwasher is a stainless in and out Kitchen Aide. Last, but not least, lighting was installed in the pantry.  This kitchen is nicer than many $300k homes.   

In 2006 we replaced HVAC with new heat pump and air conditioning systems.  System has 5 year 100% parts and labor warranty with no service fees. 

In 2007 we added the pool and deck.  We will be selling the house with the Spa included.

In 2008-09 we gradually repainted the upstairs rooms and trim.  We also had new insulation blown into the attic.

In 2009 we had 10 yards of red river rock brought in.  This was added to beds in the front, side and back.  Red river rock is expensive, but lasts forever.  Very low maintenance.  The front beds feature two Topiaries, Indian Hawthorns, Azaleas and Knockout Roses.  The side beds are Box Shrubs and Knockout Roses. 

Local Schools are Valley Elementary, Valley Intermediate, Riverchase Middle and Pelham High.  Bus stops are at the end of road for elementary - middle.
