This house, in my opinion, is awesome! It is quiet, secluded, surrounded by trees on a hilltop and has all kinds of wildlife (Deer by the dozens, chipmonks, squirrels, hawks, raccoons, armadillos, foxes... everything right in your front yard!)
If you like hunting Morel mushrooms they are there as well! To top all of that off... you are only 2 miles from the Wal-Mart Supercenter - Lowes - Banking etc... And if you really want to get adventurous, Fayetteville's Dixon Street is about 30 min from this driveway! The dirt drive is 1/4 mi long from Hwy 16 (blacktop) to the house and has a steep section. I drive a Lexus SC430 (low riding sport car) and I can get it up the driveway, very carefully, but for day to day use it would probably be better to have either a sedan sized car or higher riding truck/SUV etc...
I loved living here and I never had a visitor who didn't think that the house and location were just spectacular. Now for the details:
The house was built in 1998 and is 1,560 sq/ft, sits on 3.01 acres, is brick and wood construction.
The garage is oversized... you might could squeeze two small vehicles in there, but one SUV can do jumpin' jacks inside!
There is a back deck that looks out into the woods, which I just pressure washed and will be stained and sealed within the next week.
Has one and a half bath, on a septic system. Hardwood floors in living room, tile in the kitchen, utility and bathrooms, and carpet in bedrooms.
The house has Cox cable/high speed internet (the last house on Hwy 16 that I know of), well water, automatic chlorinator (brand new and just installed last month), water filter and water softener.
A person could potentially expand the house into the garage fairly easily, should you want or need the space.
Propane heat, fireplace and burgler alarm. (propane & electric combined run approx. $150)
Cell phones get good reception here so no need for a home phone unless you want one.
Spectacular front yard, plenty of room to play with the dog... or for the kids to run and play...
The flower beds need a complete overhaul.
