  • Why don't some listings contain all of the necessary property details like number of bedrooms or bathrooms? Why are some missing seller contact information?

    • How do I log in to my account?
      Click on the 'My Account' link at the top right corner of the page and enter your username and password. Or, click here.


    • Can I change my password?
      Yes, you can change your password at any time. After you have successfully signed in, there is a menu bar located down the left of the 'My Account' page. Click on "Change Password".

      After you click on the Change Password link, enter and confirm your new password.


    • How do I change the information on my listing?
      Log in to "My Account" by entering your username and password. Click on "Edit Listing".

      Update and/or change the details on your property. We highly recommend adding as much information as possible.


    • I've logged into my account, but I see no Edit Listing link, or any other links?
      You most likely have multiple accounts with Owners.com, and you've logged into the one that is not connected to your listing.
      Click here to contact customer service for assistance.


    • How do I remove my listing?
      Log in to "My Account" by entering your username and password. Click on "Click Here to Change Status".


    • How can I find out how many people have viewed my listing?
      To see these statistics, log in to "My Account" by entering your Username and Password, and look for "Total Visitors" next to your address. "Unique" visitors is the number of different people that have seen your listing. For example, if one person brings up your listing 10 times in one day, "Total Unique Visitors" will be 1. "Page Views" is the total number of times your listing has been seen from all your unique visitors (the same visitor could have seen your listing multiple times).


    • Why do you use my paid listing page to display advertisements?
      Our goal is to bring Sellers and Buyers together to complete a For Sale By Owner transaction. As part of this, we realize that the process can be very daunting. By providing a framework for each and every step - from mortgages to real estate forms - we hope that our carefully selected offers will take the guesswork out the FSBO process. When looking at your home listing online, buyers will see your property first. Hopefully, if they are interested, they'll also see that all the tools they need to proceed through the transaction are readily available, and that will provide them with the confidence to make an offer.

    Photographs & Virtual Tours

    • How do I add photographs to my listing?
      We have three options to you:
      1. Through "My Account". If you have digital photos, log in to "My Account" with your Username and Password and click on "Add Photos".
        Uploaded photos must be in .JPG (jpeg) format. For each photo that you have, click on "Select" to find the .jpg file on your computer, and then click "Upload". You will see thumbnails or small versions of your pictures you have selected. You may add a description for each photo. You may change the order of your photos by clicking "Move Up" or "Move Down" and select the first photo to appear by clicking "Set as Primary Image". We suggest putting a picture of the front of your property first.


      2. EMAIL. If you have digital photos and are having problems uploading them to your account, you can include them as attachments in an email addressed to photos@owners.com . We ask that your Listing ID is in the subject of the email and that the photos are formatted as .JPG (jpeg).


      3. I'm having difficulty uploading my digital pictures.
        First, check that all of your photos are .jpg (jpeg) files (ex: exterior.jpg).

        If you have uploaded your pictures, but don't see them on your listing, hit the "Refresh" button on your browser.


      4. How long will it take for my photo(s) to be posted on my listing?
        Photos that you have uploaded yourself will be posted immediately. If you have emailed them to us, we will process them within two business days of receiving them.


      5. How do I view the photo(s) in my listing?
        There are two options for viewing your listing's photo(s):
        1) To view photo(s) from your Owners.com Account: Log in to "My Account" by entering your Username and Password. Click on the "View Listing Online" link to see your photos.
        2) To view your photo(s) the same way a buyer would, search for your property by zip code or listing ID.
      6. If your listing includes more than one photo, simply click on the "previous" and "next" buttons beneath the picture.

      7. How do I change the photos on my listing?
        Log in to your account with your username and password and click "manage photos". Find the picture(s) you would like removed and click "delete". If you would like another photo in its place, simply "select" for the new file and click "upload".


      8. When I click on the virtual tour link, only a blank white box appears. What's wrong?
        You may have a popup or advertising blocker on your computer preventing the window from opening properly. Try holding your SHIFT key down on your keyboard while clicking on the virtual tour link, or disable your popup blocker while on the Owners.com site.


    Owners.com Voicemail & Answering Service

    • How do I set up my Owners.com Automated Answering Service?
      Approximately 2 hours after your listing is completed online, your answering service will be activated. First, call (866) 344-4310 and press "2". Enter your Owners.com Listing ID and the password provided on your "My Account" page when prompted. You will then be assigned a six digit access code for future logins. Call (866) 344-4310 anytime to check for new messages. Owners.com will also email you when new voice messages arrive.


    • What phone number do I give buyers to call?
      You may advertise 877-7-OWNERS. Be sure to include your listing ID.


    • I forgot my passcode. How do I get a new one?
      Call (866) 344-4310, press "2".
      Enter your listing ID and the password provided on your "My Account" page.
      You will be issued a new 6-digit code for future logins.
