How do I get a forum account?
If you are an Owners.com customer with a username and password, you already have a forum account. When you visit the forum, you should be automatically logged in for full privileges. If not, simply click "login" at the top of the page where it says "Welcome Guest". Your username is your email address and your password is your Owners.com account password.
I'm not an Owners.com member, can I still use the forum?
Yes! Feel free to browse through all of the posts on the Owners.com Forum.
If you would like to post messages on the Forum, you will need to register for a Forum account. Simply click "Register" at the top of the page where it says "Welcome Guest".
How do I change my forum username and password?
- Make sure that you are logged into the forum.
- Click Control Panel on the top right of the page (under the picture).
- Scroll down to the 3rd box on the left side that says "Your Profile" and click "Registration Details".
How do I read messages on the forum?
Click on any of the topics on the main forum page and you will see a list of sub-topics. Click on a sub-topic to read several individual messages.
How do I post messages on the forum?
You must be logged into the forum in order to post a message.
If you would like to start a new question or thread, first go to the main forum page and choose a general subject area. Then click the button "New Topic" on the top right corner of the page.
If you would like to post a response to a particular message, simply pull up that message and click the "Reply" button that is beneath it.
Can I edit or delete messages?
You may only edit or delete messages that you have posted, and you must be logged in to do so.
If you find content which is not appropriate or should be removed, please click the "Report" button on that message. We will review the content and act accordingly.
How do I search for messages on a particular topic?
You may search for messages by clicking the "Search" button located in the top right corner of the page beneath the picture. Simply type in the keywords you are looking for in the box that appears.
