Nearly new all brick ranch on 1/4 acre located in Southern Indiana just off I-65 only 20 minutes to downtown Louisville. Approx 1300 sq ft on one level living. Construction completed in Nov 2008.

Shortly after moving in my job got transfered out of state in 2009, but at least I still have my job !

This is a great room design with an eat-in kitchen that opens up to the living room with a gas fireplace and vaulted ceiling. We upgraded the basic builder appliances and replaced them with a side-by-side refrigerator, smooth top stove, built-in microwave, quiet dishwasher, and movable center island. Extra kitchen cabinets were also added along with faux wood blinds / plantation shutters in most rooms.

The large master bedroom (17x11) has a vaulted ceiling and walk-in closet. The large master bath has a double sink and ceramic tile floor with upgraded plumbing fixtures.

The split bedroom design has the 2 other bedrooms (11x10 and 12x10) on the other side of the house. They both have walk-in closets. No shortage of closet space with a hall closet in the entry also.

The entry, kitchen, bath and laundry room are all ceramic tile floors. The laundry room is off of the front entry and also opens into the 2 car garage, just like a mud room off the garage and hallway.

The mechanical room is in the garage with a gas furnace and electric hot water. Built on a concrete slab so there is no basement. On the exterior we added full view glass storm doors front & back, and a wood privacy fence around the back yard, perfect for children and pets.

The driveway was widened to accomodate 3 cars. Also added a sidewalk to the rear yard gate and stone landscaping that accents the house.

This location would be described as a quiet rural developement. There are approx 25 houses built in the development at this time. Nothing has been added since we moved here last year. Nothing is under construction either. There is only one larger more expensive house for sale in the developement and a few unfinished patio homes selling for the same as we are asking for this single family.

Considering the economy, it is doubtful that this area will grow rapidly in the near future. The location is 17 miles from downtown Louisville. It took approx 35 minutes to drive south of the airport when I was working in the area. It is a great home at a great price.
