This historical colonial is on the National Historical Society Registry and was built in 1790. It was also the Recruitment House for the War of 1812. It boasts eleven rooms with wide pine wood floors and tile throughout the home. There was also an addition built onto the home in 1993 and has central air conditioning and forced hot air by gas. The main house has steam oil heat.
There are five fireplaces. One very large one in the kitchen with a bee hive oven, one in the living room with custom made drapes, one in each of the two bedrooms with custom window treatments upstairs, and one in the bathroom with a pedastal sink and french tub. All fireplaces were professionally redone and are in perfect working condition.
There are open beams exposed in the dining room with custom made drapes and period wallpaper.
The front entrance foyer has a mural of the Revolutionary War from the first floor to the ceiling on the second floor

The roof on the main part of the home needs to be replaced and the home needs paint on the exterio
