We bought this house in 1998. It is a warm and cozy cottage in a small, historic town. It is bordered by a regional park and a historic district. This limits the amount and type of construction that will occur nearby. There is a small restaurant in walking distance and a grocery store 5 miles away. It is about .25 mile off of 270, which allows for easy access to the highway. There is plenty of privacy and yard space. The detached "carriage house" is an additional blessing- a place to play cards, work out, watch videos, or just chill. There are hardwood floors in most of the house and a new floor was recently installed in the bathroom. We put a new roof on two years ago. There are very, very few single family homes in this price range in Northern Montgomery County. If you opt for this home, you will not have to worry about the things that trouble a townhouse community- the neighbors have been there for years and the schools are great.
