This cabin is appx. 1100 sq ft. It is on a lot 130’ x 80’ and includes a
non-contiguous lot 150’ x 70’ about 425 feet down the hill. (This 2nd lot would be suitable
for another small cabin.) It is in the old Wildlife Club Estates development
that never got off the ground. The front
of the property faces a well maintained county dirt road. There is one other abandoned cabin down the
road a ways. The closest “neighbor” is
about ¼ mile behind this cabin.
The water system is an 1100 gallon cistern that we collect
rain water and feed into a 400 gallon tank which is plumbed into the
house. In droughty times we pump water
from a spring about 1 mile down the hill.
Electricity is provided by Carroll Cooperative. There is no telephone line but there is good
cell phone reception. TV reception is
fair.
