All brick ranch house for sale in the town of Kelso, Missouri. Recent updates include tile floor, toilet, vanity top, and fixtures in master bath, new over the range microwave in kitchen, new back storm door, walking path from driveway in front to back patio and shed, new carpet and padding, and fresh neutral paint throughout.
The master bedroom has a walk-in closet and a bathroom with a shower. There is a wood burning fireplace in the living room with an insert for cozy winter nights. The dinning room and eat-in portion of the kitchen has custom wood panels to resemble wainscoting. Inside doors have been replaced years ago with six panel wood doors painted a light parchment color to match the trim throughout the house. All windows have blinds. Bedroom number two which has the front corner of the house is painted a pale yellow, has a chairrail, and also custom cornices above the windows. These cornices are covered in material to match the theme of the room but can easily be changed to match bedding as you change the room, or even painted. All the carpet and padding was replaced in June 08 to a light to medium beige. A doggy door leads out to a huge fenced in back yard.
Outside, there is landscaping all the way around the house. There are many beautiful perennial in the flower beds that start blooming in the spring and continue until late fall. Azaleas, hostas, mums, and irises to name a few. There is a sprinkler system in a few of the flower beds. A walking path was added from the driveway in the front to the backyard patio and shed. The backyard has a stained and weatherproofed wood fence. In the backyard, you will find more flower beds, a huge patio, a redbud tree, a pecan tree, a huge pine tree and a few others. Even with all the trees for shade, there is still plenty of open space. There is a 12 x 18 shed with a workbench that is great for extra storage. Along the backyard fence is a honeysuckle bush and a blackberry bush. We have eaten lots of pecan and blackberry pies!
There are field crops on the west side that abut the property. We have wonderful neighbors and the house sits on a very quiet cul-de-sac. This is a great location close to I-55 and Hwy 61. Just a hop, skip, and a jump to either Cape Girardeau, Jackson or Sikeston.
