2 Story Geodesic Dome House with addition and 8.88 ac.
in the red rocks of Timberlake Ranch, Ramah, NM.
Enjoy the Zuni Mountains and Cibola National Forest that surround Timberlake Ranch 5 acre private lake. 360 views of meadows, mountains and red rock mesas among the Ponderosa pines, junipers and cedars. Cool crisp air and climate of 7000 ft. altitude in Northwestern New Mexico where the wildlife abounds.
The American Ingenuity Geodesic Dome house was built in 1998 in alignment with the 4 directions. Front door facing east. The first floor floors are custom red rock and 2nd floor is hardwood. The design of the house is completely open in the deltec style. The second floor is half the size of the first and has window dormers on each end facing east and west. The upstairs addition bathroom/laundry room is 11x14 with red tile floor and full tub. Washer, dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator, gas stove, propane heater and baseboard heaters all included. Well water is great and plentiful with 3 year old drilled well and 200 gal holding tank.
Off the living room is an in ground pond with waterfall and large medicine wheel ( fire circle) made of red rocks. The community is an artist/ healer heaven. 40 miles to Gallup or 50 miles to Grants on historic Hwy. 53.
The entire outside of the house was painted in Aug. with Behr Elastomeric paint, guaranteed water proofing for 10 years. The concrete stucco construction keeps the house cool in summer and warm in the winter. It also has a wood stove with glass front and a 8 x 10 storage shed out back. Horses and pets welcome.
This is the retreat you have been dreaming of.
