is a city in and the county seat of Colbert County, Alabama, United States. At the 2000 census, the population was 7,856 and is included in The Shoals MSA. Tuscumbia is the hometown of Helen Keller and the location of the Alabama Music Hall of Fame. It is also the home of perennial basketball powerhouse Covenant Christian School and its legendary coach Bill Deegan.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 7.3 square miles (18.9 km²), of which, 7.3 square miles (18.9 km²) of it is land and 0.14% is water.
