) is a census-designated place (CDP) in Fresno County, California, United States. The population was 705 at the 2000 census. Shaver Lake is on the southeast end of the lake of the same name, northeast of New Auberry, at an elevation of 5627 feet (1715 m). The name honors C.B. Shaver, founder of the irrigation company that had the dam built creating the lake.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 34.7 square miles (89.8 km²), of which, 32.3 square miles (83.8 km²) of it is land and 2.3 square miles (6.0 km²) of it (6.72%) is water.
