Beautiful two story colonial located in South Meriden on the border of Cheshire and Wallingford.  Quiet area conveniently located near I-691, I-84 and I-91.  Also close to rt 5 which offers many stores and anything else you need.  The neighborhood is great, with families and working professionals.  Very private location with a very large backyard (property sits on a .87 acre lot).  There are no houses behind the property and offers a very private and secluded area.  The house is on a quiet road and is also a good distance from the road offering very little noise from any traffic.  The area also offers convenient store within walking distance and a large shopping mall within a 5 min. drive.  There is also a walking trail down the road and hubbard park within a 5 min. drive.  The Cheshire border is about 1 mile up the road and the Wallingford border is 1 mile up the road in the opposite direction.  Both elementary school and high school are within 1 mile of the location as well.

The house was built new and with custom design in 2005.  A lot of attention to detail was put in during the building and this was to be our families home but due to unforeseen circumstances we need to move to another part of the country.  The house sits on a .87 acre lot, has a very open layout that offers a lot of options in setting up your home.  There is a two car garage that is attached.  The living room has cathedral ceilings with two sky lights and a gas fireplace. There is also a remote control fan and light in the living room, with wall control as well. There is a large open 1st floor layout of the living room, family room and kitchen.  There is also a more private dinning room.  There is a half bathroom downstairs and a large closet in the 1st floor hallway.  The basement is very large and you have many options to either fully finish it or use it as both exercise/laundry area.  The 2nd floor has three bedrooms.  Bedroom 1 has two skylights, a walk in closet with cedar wood as part of the wall, and a huge storage area.  The skylights are controlled by remote control and fully open for a fresh breeze.  The blinds on the sky lights are also controlled by remote control. The 2nd floor hallway also has a large walk in closet that could be used by either bedroom 1 or bedroom 2.  Bedroom 2 is a very large room that was originally supposed to be two bedrooms but was made into 1 and offers a lot of space to make a bedroom and office/entertainment room.  There is a full bathroom located on the 2nd floor as well.  The master bedroom which is in the back of the house offers a large master bathroom and walk in closet.  The master bathroom has two sinks, a jacuzzi tube and a large stand in shower.  In the master bathroom you also have a private toilet room and a large walk in closet.  In the backyard there is a 10 by 14 deck with a sun-setter that is remote controlled.

The house is in great condition, its a wonderful location that offers a lot of things to do.  The layout is very open and allows a lot of flexibility with set up and decor.  There are a lot of windows throughout the house and it is always bright.  Central heat and Ac which is run on oil and electricity.
