Royal Palm Beach is a "village" in southeast Florida. It is located in Palm Beach County. Royal Palm Beach is known for its many parks and the general mission to protect Green Space throughout its boundaries. As indicated by the recent acquisition of 190 acres to create a master central park and the development of 25 preserved acres into a passive Bird Watching and nature park. Royal Palm Beach offers many activities for the outdoor oriented person. The Royal Palm Beach Pop Warner Youth Football & Cheer program is highly respected across Florida. Soccer, football, basketball, RC racing, tennis, senior living and golf programs run year round in the Village.

The population was 21,523 at the 2000 census. As of April 2008, the population recorded by city is 31,864. Contrary to the name of "The Village...", it is located approximately fifteen miles inland, from the shore of the Atlantic Ocean.


Royal Palm Beach was incorporated on June 18, 1959.

In 1990, Royal Palm Beach was named as a Tree City USA. Its entire area is designated as a bird sanctuary.
