is an unincorporated city in Gwinnett County, Georgia, USA. It is a northern suburb of Atlanta. Although Peachtree Corners uses a Norcorss mailing address, the area is not actually part of the city, and the United States Post Office's Peachtree Corners Branch allows use of Peachtree Corners as a mailing address, though few residents do.
Peachtree Corners is roughly the area bordered by the cities of Dunwoody and Sandy Springs on the west, Peachtree Industrial Boulevard and Norcross, Georgia city limits on the south, the Chattahoochee River on the north, and the city limits of Berkeley Lake on the east. Schools within the town include Peachtree Elementary, Simpson Elementary, and Pinckneyville Middle. The town has its own YMCA (Robert D. Fowler), Library Branch (located off Spalding Drive), Post Office Branch (located next to library on Spalding), Fire Station (also on Spalding next to library), and police substation (in Market Place shopping center).
The area has flirted with the idea of incorporation as a city, but a survey mailed out to residents of the area showed opposition to the idea. The zip code for the affluent town is 30092, which in 2004 had an Average Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) of $70,724. The median home price in 2007 was $368,408. The homes were mostly developed in the 1970s and 1980s, although some neighborhoods like Neely Farm, Amberfield, Linfield and Riverfield were developed in the 1990s.
