is a city in Cherokee County, Georgia, United States. The population was 10,050 at the 2000 census. Originally a stop on the Louisville & Nashville railroad line, Woodstock is now considered part of the Atlanta metropolitan area. It is now the tenth fastest growing suburb in the US with an estimated population of 21,482 in 2006.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 8.8 square miles (22.9 km²), of which, 8.8 square miles (22.8 km²) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 km²) of it (0.23%) is water.
