is a city in Polk County, Iowa, United States. The population was 1,846 at the 2000 census; a special census taken in 2006 counted 2,951 residents. It is part of the Des Moines–West Des Moines Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Bondurant incorporated as a city on December 23, 1897. It was named for Alexander C. Bondurant, who was the area's first settler in 1857.
