is a village in Cook County, Illinois, United States that is also a suburb of Chicago. Its town's government was founded in 1956, though it had been settled a long before that. Its area is small, and its population was just 4,224 at the 2000 census, but there are several large businesses, and the huge 78,000 square meter Rosemont Convention Center. Rosemont is also the home town and sponsor of the Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 1.7 sq mi (4.5 km²), all land.
