is a census-designated place (CDP) in California and North Bend Townships, Starke County, Indiana, United States. The population was 1,249 at the 2000 census. A post office was established there in 1892, and it is named after the nearby lake which was populated with a large number of black bass.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 11.3 square miles (29.2 km²), of which, 9.1 square miles (23.7 km²) of it is land and 2.1 square miles (5.5 km²) of it (18.95%) is water.
