is a city in Patoka Township, Gibson County, in the U.S. state of Indiana. As of the 2000 census, the city population was 8,175 and in 2005 was 10,016, and is part of the greater Evansville, Indiana metropolitan area. The city is the county seat of Gibson County.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of , all of it land. However, like Fort Branch, Princeton has had two major annexations of adjacent lands to bring its total area to , 0.1% of it water and rest being land with a population of 10,974 people as of 2007.
