Our home sits on the greenbelt with a walking trail passing the backyard.  We have planted fruit trees which are now mature and fruit bearing along that trail.  Last Fall I made 2 peach cobblers and 8 quart of peach jelly from our tree!  Beautiful view of the pond and treeline from the covered deck.  We watch beautiful sunsets from the deck in the summer.  Back yard amenities include a play house built by my husband- email me for pictures (annschrick@cox.net).  We have landscaped with many trees, bushes, flowers and even a couple of grape vines.  This is truly an escape from the city.  The neighbors are very friendly surrounding us.
