is a census-designated place (CDP) in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana, United States. The population was 8,323 at the 2000 census. It was established in the 1930s during the construction of the Huey P. Long Bridge over the Mississippi River. The town is located on the West Bank of the river. It is part of the New Orleans–Metairie–Kenner Metropolitan Statistical Area.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 5.3 square miles (13.6 km²), of which, 4.4 square miles (11.3 km²) of it is land and 0.9 square miles (2.3 km²) of it (16.73%) is water.
