is a town in Somerset County, Maine, United States. The population was 1,836 at the 2000 census.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 47.2 square miles (122.1 km²), of which, 44.8 square miles (116.2 km²) of it is land and 2.3 square miles (6.0 km²) of it (4.90%) is water. St. Albans is home to beautiful Great Moose Lake, a wonderful recreational body of water home to many seasonal camps and a number of year round homes. It is rich in wildlife, home to loons, eagles, herons, osprey, moose, and beavers. The fishing is good year round,and many folks enjoy ice fishing in the winter months.
