is a city in Kent County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 10,764 at the 2000 census. It is a suburb of Grand Rapids known for its award-winning school system with extensive athletic championships, affluence and homogeneous population. Its pedestrian-friendly downtown, known as Gaslight Village, sits on the shore of Reeds Lake.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 3.4 square miles (8.8 km²), of which, 2.9 square miles (7.6 km²) of it is land and 0.5 square miles (1.2 km²) of it (13.82%) is water. Reeds Lake and Fisk Lake comprise most of the water area.
