is a city in Wayne County in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2000 census, the city population was 12,530. It is part of the collection of communities known as Downriver.
In 1950 small parts of the eastern section of Woodhaven were considered urbanized areas by the census.
Woodhaven was incorporated as a village in 1961, and was named after Woodhaven, a village in the Borough of Queens, New York City. It re-incorporated as a city on December 7, 1965.
