is a city in Todd County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 735 at the 2000 census. The current mayor is Michael Aksamit (elected 2006). Three notable past-residents include author LaVyrle Spencer, sculptor Joseph Kiselewski, and Galynn Brady (nee Johnson). Brady, a graduate of Browerville High School, is the mother of New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. Browerville was named after Jacob V. Brower (1844-1905), who was a prolific writer of the Upper Midwest region of the United States who championed the location and protection of the utmost headwaters of the Mississippi and Missouri rivers. Brower was born in Michigan and moved to Minnesota. In 1862 he served with Henry Hastings Sibley during wars against the Sioux in Minnesota. After the war he was County Auditor and County Attorney for Todd County, Minnesota.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.7 square miles (1.8 km²), all of it land. The Long Prairie River flows near the city's eastern boundary.
