is a city in Stearns and Wright counties in the U.S. state of Minnesota. The population was 858 at the 2000 census. Most of the city lies in Wright County, with only a small part of the city's area extending into Stearns County.
The Wright County portion of Clearwater is part of the Minneapolis–St. Paul, MN-WI Metropolitan Statistical Area, while the small portion in Stearns County is part of the St. Cloud, MN Metropolitan Statistical Area.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.3 square miles (3.3 km²), of which, 1.2 square miles (3.0 km²) of it is land and 0.1 square miles (0.3 km²) of it (10.08%) is water.
Interstate 94 and Minnesota State Highway 24 are two of the main routes in the community.
