 We love the LOCATION of our 4 BEDROOM-3 FULL BATHROOMS, 3-CAR GARAGE home.  It is about a 5 minute DRIVE to Sam s Club shopping area, MU campus, Boone, University and Regional Hospitals, new IBM building, ABC Laboratories in the Discovery Ridge Research Park, Grindstone Nature Area trail, Stephen s Lake Park, Interstate 70, and Highway 63.  It is about a 5 minute WALK to East Pointe Subdivision s fishing pond, Hollywood Movie Theaters, and Commerce Bank.  School age CHILDREN live in the houses across the street and the buses stop by the house. The professional office buildings around us are beautifully landscaped and meticulously maintained.  The office workers are gone when we tend to be at home. A unique feature of this ONE LEVEL HOME is the floor plan of the bedrooms.  Three bedrooms are together on one end of the house and the 4th bedroom is on the opposite end of the house.  Next to the 4th bedroom is a full bath and one of the TWO interior entrances to the 3-car garage.  This 4th bedroom has PRIVACY from the rest of the house.  It can be used as space for a home office, mother-in-law living area, or for house guests.  The bedroom worked out well for Mom who stayed with us when she broke her hip.  The house was easily accessible for her since all entrances into the home are only about 3 INCHES OFF THE GROUND great for SMALL CHILDREN and the DISABLED. A white wood railing separates the concrete area from the tall purple liatris and lawn on the other side.   The patio area also contains a GOLDFISH POND with a WATERFALL.  The backyard is beautifully landscaped with edging bricks.  It is LUSH green with lots of hosta, flowering trees, a big blue hydrangea bush, and too many different PERENIALS to name.  There are about 50 homes in East Pointe where homeowners pay dues of $100 each year to cover miscellaneous expenses, ground maintenance around the pond, and STOCKING THE POND WITH FISH.  Mighty big catfish have been pulled from this pond.  The East Ponte neighborhood association hosts an annual fall picnic.
