Wibaux is located at (46.986991, -104.189848). It is the easternmost town in Montana along Interstate 94 and runs a rest stop/information center for motorists using the highway.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 1.1 square miles (2.8 km²), all of it land.
Beaver Creek runs through the town and has been known to contain large Walleye and Northern Pike.
