This modern southwestern stucco, open floor plan, ranch property is <1 mile outside of the city limits on 2.49 acres; all roads paved.  Loop road on property and RV access/parking.  Enjoy peace and quiet under the stars in the country while having immediate access to services of Holloman AFB (18 minutes) and Alamogordo (<5 minutes).  Property is 80% fenced to contain horses we have two currently.  Outbuildings include a 12x16 work shop/well pump house with cabinetry and running water and an 8 x12 stick built storage shed w/double doors and shingle roof.  To further sustain horses I ve erected a 4 post 10 x10 horse loafing shade and a 6 post, 8 x16 , tin roofed hay shed (stores 150 2 string bales).  Raised garden put into service in 2008 and it yielded a bountiful crop of tomatoes, 3x squash/zucchini, corn, egg plants, lettuce, carrots, 3x peppers, cabbage, cucumbers, onions, cantaloupe, watermelon, basil, and 75 lb pumpkins.  No water bill/limitations allows garden to grow healthy.  Surplus vegetables sold at local Farmers Market...Net earnings paid for deer and elk tag to hunt in 2008/9/10.  Inside we've  upgraded the kitchen with neutrally colored Corian countertops/sink tying the whole Southwestern ranch appeal together.  All high end stainless appliances sell with the house.  Stove, furnace, and hot water heater all run on LP gas; 250 gal tank leased. All non-carpeted floors tiled.  Surplus storage above garage; ladder access to decked lighted storage area.  House is cooled by central evaporative cooler with auto control and water recirculation; very efficient and since we own our well, water is still free and the typically high electric bill that refrigerated A/C drives is absent.  Master bathroom has solid surface double sinks, a relaxing jet tub, a shower, and a large walk in closet.   Each room throughout the house has quiet ceiling fans and wall to wall carpet was replaced by previous owner.  There are 2 wood burning fireplaces (1 inside/1 outside).  The back yard has gated brick wall to contain pets/small children.   It is our hope that you enjoy this wonderful home as much as we have.  It is truly nice to come home from work, pick a fresh garden tomato for dinner BLTs, and peacefully relax on back covered patio to watch the sun set across the valley and moon rise over the mountains sitting next to and open campfire.
