House sits on a hill with sweeping front lawn and mature plantings. Backyard is very private with, azaleas, rhododendrons, hostas, and many mature oak trees.
Since July of 2005, we have put in 220 amp service, central air, oak floors in the living and dining rooms, ceramic tile in the foyer and ceramic tile with radiant heat in the kitchen/den. On the first floor, most doors have been replaced with wood six panel doors, and the LR, DR, Kitchen /Den and hall and MBR have crown moldings. The dining room has a new brass chandelier.
The kitchen, hall, and 3 full baths were gutted and redone. There is a first floor laundry room behind the new hall bath. The center island kitchen has cherry cabinets, granite countertops, a Dacor 5 burner gas cook top with vent, a beverage fridge, and convection/microwave and wall oven with heating drawer, trash compactor, a custom tile backsplash, and high hats. The kitchen/hearth room has custom built wall units and granite front fireplace with built in 46 inch TV, which will remain with the house. We recently installed a Pergo floors upstairs. All 3 new baths have Koehler sinks, toilets and faucets. There is new rug in the basement, Mohawk Carpet. The basement has a sink, stove, and full size refrigerator! We used them when the kitchen was being redone. House is great on holidays or when entertaining a big crowd.
