Hall
Hardwood Floors extend from the front door to the study and main bedroom on the ground floor. Open and airy as the Hall has adjoining half-bathroom and closet for coats. An oak stair rail leads to the second floor.
Great Room
(30' by 15') From the hall opening to the left is the living room a vaulted ceiling extends to a height of 11 feet. Center piece a ceramic log real effect propane fire. The room is wired for surround sound. windows on all the outside walls allow views across the lake.
Kitchen
(24.5' by 15.5') The kitchen is tiled throughout and includes a country-style dining area with a bay window looking out over the lake and the swimming pool. Jenn-Air kitchen appliances throughout including: the oven, ceramic hob, built in microwave, and dishwasher. Plenty of base and floor mounted cupboard storage and a food pantry.
Study
(12' by 12') Off the hall the study has a hardwood floor and an octagonal feature recessed ceiling.
Main Bedroom ensuite bathroom
(13' by 13' plus 17' by 11') Located at the far end of the hall. The bathroom is laid to tile. The suite is a marble effect and consists of a whirlpool bath, large cubicle shower (4' by 4') fitted with a seat, and his-and-her side-by-side sink units. Switch back stairs with an oak bannister leads from the hall to the first floor. The first floor above the hall is open and the bannister rail extends to a built-in floor-to-ceiling oak bookcase. A small area adjacent to the bookcase is available for reading with plenty of natural light.
The stairs and landing and all the first floor rooms are carpeted except for the bathrooms.

(14' by 13') This room has views across the lake and access the the first floor covered deck. There is a closet with folding door access. The room has a built in desk with drawers.
Bedroom 5
(14' by 13" plus 9' by 5') This room has views across the lake and access to the first floor covered deck. There is a walk-in closet with access at the rear of the closet to a large game room. A further room off the closet houses the first floor water heater and is used for storage. This bedroom has an in-room wash-basin and mirror commonly found in Victorian English homes. This room has direct access to a shower cubicle and toilet and makes for excellent visitor accommodation.
Bathroom complex
The first floor bathroom was designed to accommodate four girls and has stood the test of time. It consistes of four separate rooms that can be isolated from each other, either by conventional doors or by sliding pocket doors. Room 1 contains 2 wash basins and 9 feet of counter top with plenty of drawer and cabinet storage space. Room 2 contains a toilet stool. Room 3 contains a tub and shower. Room 4 contains a shower cubicle and toilet stool.
Game Room
(23' by 30') This large room over the garage makes for an ideal game room. Fitted with telephone lines, power and light. The far corners of the room have additional storage areas.
To the outside
The double wide drive is concrete from the garage to the road allowing parking for 8 cars. From the drive, a curving concrete pathway leads to the front door and its pillared porch.
The one acre lot is laid to grass (bermuda) with oak and hickory trees left in a natural setting. The lawn is easily mowed. Around the house are flower borders. To the east of the house a rocky outcrop has been tended into a rockery garden. To the west is a small vegetable garden. To the south (and rear of the house which faces the lake) is the greater portion of the land and very private rear lawn. In the south-west portion is a further vegetable garden. The rear lawn and trhe vegetable garden are watered by the aerobic sprinkler system.
The Pool
Leaving the house from the kitchen door and a little way down the hill, recessed into the hill is a 32' by 16' oval swimming pool. The pool is surrounded by a wooden deck built in the style of the house.
A covered porch extends on the ground floor from the kitchen door around the master bedroom on the west side of the house. A spiral staircase outside the kitchen door allows external access to the first floor "L" shaped deck (8' by 58'). Ground floor and first floor decks have external lighting and ceiling fans.
