is a borough in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, 30 miles (48 km) northwest of Philadelphia on the Perkiomen Creek. Collegeville was incorporated in 1895. It is the seat of Ursinus College, opened in 1869. Population in 1910, 621. The population was 8,032 at the 2000 census.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the borough has a total area of 1.6 square miles (4.2 km²), of which, 1.6 square miles (4.0 km²) of it is land and 0.1 square miles (0.2 km²) of it (3.70%) is water.
