is a borough in Beaver County, Pennsylvania, United States. Located 25 miles (40 km) northwest of Pittsburgh, it is part of the Pittsburgh metropolitan area. The population was 4,014 at the 2000 census.
Like many places in and around Pittsburgh and especially Beaver County, Rochester has been used for scenes in movies. Scenes in the 1986 movie
(starring Woody Harrelson, Randy Quaid, and Bill Murray) were both shot in Rochester.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the borough has a total area of 0.7 square miles (1.8 km²), of which, 0.6 square miles (1.5 km²) of it is land and 0.1 square miles (0.3 km²) of it (17.14%) is water.
