> Lugoff is also the home of a Mr. Sam Cokley,sent to jail in 1978, Mr. cokley has been hooked on everything from pot to PCP to Heroin to LSD. Downtown Lugoff begins at the Holdiday Inn and ends at Food Lion. Local night life hot spots include San Jose, the Sonic and McDonalds parking lots, Koota K's poolside bar and grill, any one of the diverse collection of used car lots, Gadgets (a favorite of local motorcyclists),the Studebaker building, and the newfangled Taco Bell. Lugoffians flood to these urban establishments not only on the weekends but throughout the week. Camoflouge is a local fashion favorite for men and women alike. Lugoff has been a hotspot for South Carolina nightlife since the late 1980s after the arrival of McDonalds. This arrival created a considerable influx in economic activities throughout the small town.
