is the name of a master-planned community developed by Republic Property Group, south of Denton in unincorporated Denton County, Texas, United States. It is located within the boundaries of two Denton County Fresh Water Supply Districts, #6 and #7. Republic Property Group estimates the population is 6,800, as of 2009.
Lantana encompasses over . It was developed starting in 1999 on land acquired from the Rayzor family (known as Rayzor Ranch). The first new home was sold and occupied in July 2001. The homes of Lantana are built around an award-winning 18-hole golf course, designed by golf architect Jay Morrish.
Lantana has three of Denton ISD's schools. Those schools are Tom Harpool Middle School and Amy Blanton Elementary School which opened in August 2008. Eugenia Porter Rayzor Elementary was the first school to be built and it opened August 2002.

According to Lantana's marketing website, "Lantana is located within a county development district and two Fresh Water Supply Districts. Development districts and Fresh Water Supply Districts are political subdivisions endowed with the functions, powers, authority, rights and duties that will permit them to accomplish the purpose for which they were created. The Fresh Water Supply Districts are the taxing authorities for the Lantana Community."
