is a city in Ellis, Johnson, and Tarrant Counties in the U.S. state of Texas. The population was 41,564 in 2006 (though signs in the city have the population at 59,000).
In 2007, CNN/Money Magazine rated Mansfield as one of the "Best Places to Live", ranking 83 out of the top 100 places.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 94.6 km² (36.5 sq mi). 36.5 square miles (94.5 km²) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 km²) of it (0.11%) is water.
