is an unincorporated town in Parker County, Texas, United States founded by Sam Jones in 1814 along Farm Road 920, about 17 miles northwest of Weatherford, the county seat. It is home to a few hundred residents, and a school district with three campuses, a seed and feed company, a post office (ZIP code 76487), a convenience store, and a storage facility.
There are three churches in the town; a Methodist church, a Southern Baptist church, and a Church of Christ. The Church of Christ building is located just west of the town square, behind the seed company.
Fires came through this small town because of a drought.The drought lasted for 8 months.
Wes Nations, guitarist for popular rock band Blackwater, was raised in Poolville.
