pantry is wonderful! It is bright and has all built-in cupboards.
Combined with the kitchen layout, we have a great place to entertain and
cook. This house has its original woodwork and hardwood floors. We love the
charm and warmth of older homes, and this one is well-preserved. We are
only the second owner in the past 40 years. The walk-in closets in
each bedroom provide great functional space.
With the new furnace installed in 2002, we've been pleasantly surprised
at the reasonable heating costs!
Neighborhood Description:
A lot
has been happening in downtown Eau Claire over the last few years. We
have the Farmer's Market, Phoenix Park, the community gardens, bike
trails, a new grocery store on the way, restaurants, and the Sounds Like
Summer Concert Series. This house is right in the middle of the action,
a block away from the community gardens and 2-3 blocks away from the
Farmer's Market and the rest of Phoenix Park.
