1. Indian Hill

Located east of the city, this affluent suburb features high-end homes that hold their value year after year. Ranked as one of the most livable cities in Ohio by Area Vibes, the Village of Indian Hill is a small town where median home prices hover just below $1,000,000. Business Insider even named Indian Hill one of the top suburbs in the U.S., citing its excellent schools and relatively high median income of residents.

2. Mount Adams

If you’re looking for a vibrant urban neighborhood, Mount Adams is a great place to start your search. Its diverse housing options, including a mix of Victorians and newer homes, offer something for everyone. According to Neighborhood Scout, the median home price in this neighborhood is just over $450,000. 3. Montgomery

4. Hyde Park

Home prices here appreciated about 7 percent in 2015, rising to a median sales price of $290,000.

5. Mason

Farther north, the town of Mason has been named one of the best cities for young families by NerdWallet, taking into account the excellent schools, affordable housing, and income growth of residents. Kings Island, which is the largest amusement park in the Midwest, is one of the many family-friendly activities in the neighborhood. Mason has also been named one of the best places to live by Money, which noted that job opportunities in the neighborhood attract a wide range of workers. The median home price in Mason was around $230,000 in 2015, which was up about 3 percent from the year before.
