The cabin is located just off of the Richardson Highway, 40 miles south of Fairbanks, 30 miles south of North Pole, 20 miles south of Eielson Air Force Base, and 60 miles north of Delta Junction, Alaska, the official end of the Alaska Highway. Access to the cabin can easily be had year-round if the short access road is maintained during the winter. The cabin is equipped with electric, passable septic for a single person, an outhouse, a large wood stove, a 500 gallon storage tank for heating fuel that supplies the in-cabin Toyo Stove, full-sized refrigerator, electric cooking range, and telephone/internet hookup. Currently, the cabin can be considered partially "dry", but a 105 gallon water tank has been installed and provides running water to the kitchen and bathroom sinks and the toilet. The cabin consists of one main front room containing the kitchen, wood stove, and an area for a dining table, along with one small bedroom / office, a main bedroom, a small bathroom with toilet and shower stall (shower does not currently operate), and a large additional side room that can be used for a variety of purposes. The total square footage of the living area is 712 square feet, while the total area of the lot is 1.745 acres. There are two outbuildings for storage, a dog kennel, a covered area for parking two ATV's or snowmachines, and a large, open parking area for your vehicles and other toys or for use as a future building site (garage, shop, etc)
